Ladakh bandh entered day 2 over detention of renowned climate activist Sonam Wangchuk. The bandh was called by the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) and Apex Body, Leh. Shops were closed as residents demanded Wangchuk's release and 6th schedule to safeguard region's rights. Notably, Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and his supporters were detained by Delhi Police on October 1.
