On 7. June 2022 Dr Julia Shaw celebrated the release of her book "Bi: The hidden culture, history, and science of bisexuality" at the British Library. This was her opening speech.

Julia Shaw is a criminal psychologist at UCL, BBC science presenter, and the author of multiple books. She also has a master's degree in Queer History.

In this short talk, she covers many bi topics, including the history and definition of bisexuality, research on hypersexualisation, bisexual asylum seekers, and how most bisexual people see their sexuality is a gift.
