Here's a behind-the-scenes look at how we’re working around the clock to repair State Highway 1 through Mangamuka Gorge.

In this video you can see our dedicated night crews tackling the challenging terrain and critical slip sites. Workers are busy doing a wide range of tasks on the road while you're sleeping, from breaking ground for permanent piles to using high-tech sensors to monitor ground movements, soil moisture, and rainfall and manage the risks of working in such a complex environment. Every shift is carefully planned to ensure progress, worker safety, and to and minimise disruptions.
