Our July 2024 full-site drone flyover of the State Highway 1 Mangamuka Gorge slip repairs project shows significant changes compared to the previous flyover from December 2023.

All critical slips are being worked on. We have completed the piling on 9 of the critical slips, of these 3 are complete and Slips A1/A2 will have the final 1050 millimetre diameter piles installed by the end of July 2024. Work on the newest slip, A47, will be underway in early August ensuring we stay on track to reopen by Christmas this year.
