In this video we will show you the most famous attraction in all of Greece, the Acropolis, the cradle of modern civilization.

We will start walking by the port of Piraeus to the metro station, where we will take a train that will take us directly to Thissio station, very close to the Acropolis. There, Eli will tell you how to get to the Acropolis by Metro and we will show you our tour, which was very pleasant and had beautiful views.

Then we will tell you how to buy your ticket to enter the Acropolis, which must be purchased in the same archaeological site, since it can’t be purchased online. We will also give you a couple of tips to visit this impressive site.

Later we will talk about the Parthenon and we will tell you everything we knew about its history and curious facts. We continue with our walk through the Acropolis of Athens telling you about the Erechtheion and the Caryatids and then we’ll to the Odeon of Herodes, a theater perfectly preserved at the foot of the Acropolis.

To end our visit, we will walk down one of the paths of the Acropolis until we reach the Temple of Asclepius and the Theater of Dionysus.

Finally we will show you the historic district of Plaka where we walked for almost an hour until we reached the restaurant Ydria, a beautiful restaurant with traditional Greek food with a modern touch, in which we enjoyed a delicious lunch.
