BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters™ adoption event continues through Tuesday, July 30.

Angie Padgett is a volunteer with Daviess County Animal Care & Control. She says adoption fees have been sponsored for 60 dogs and 30 cats.

The Daviess County Animal Shelter is located at 2620 Kentucky Highway 81 in Owensboro. Hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Closed Noon to 1 p.m. for lunch), and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
