Did you know? A microchip is a tiny transponder used for permanent pet identification.

Daviess County Animal Care & Control will offer a discounted microchip service at the Pups in the Park event on September 21. Bring your pet to the Feather Landing Shelter at Panther Creek Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first 100 microchips will be free, courtesy of SAINT. After that, microchipping will be available for a special rate of $10 per pet.
