Maize harvest 2021 is currently in full swing and some impressive self propelled forage harvesters can be seen in action. In Belgium the first Krone Big X 1180 OptiMaize has been working this season. With a 12 cylinder Liebherr engine pumping out 1156 horsepower this is the biggest forager working in the whole Benelux. It is teamed up with a 12-row XCollect header and its appetite is pretty amazing! This machine belongs to Belgian contractor Wiverco.

A fleet of tractors and trailers are used to cart the maize silage to the clamp:
