We measure the power useage (in watts) of a PS4, Xbox One and Xbox One S while at idle, during gameplay and in standby mode.
We first measure the power consumption of a 1200 model Playstation 4, then the Xbox One game console, then the Xbox One S.
We found that the PS4 had the lowest power consumption in standby mode but also the highest in gameplay. The Xbox One S used the fewest number of watts during gameplay by a large margin.
We also create a graph of our measurements to show in a screenshot at the end.
