Welcome to Rio de Janeiro!

The Natural Park Woods of Barra is a jewel within the heart of Barra da Tijuca. A very little visited place but that keeps the neighborhood's DNA intact. For those who came to visit Barra da Tijuca only in the 21st century, with its beautiful condominiums, large buildings, dozens of malls, wide avenues, intense traffic and a busy life, you cannot imagine what this place was like before. The preservation of the Woods of Barra has exactly this purpose. Keep the true local nature intact. The woods covers 53.64 hectares, but access is allowed in approximately 30% of the entire forest. It is divided into two areas, preservation and conservation. It also has a small parking lot and a vegetable garden, which was closed on the day of the recording "I don't know if entry is allowed sometime". In addition to the entire path inside the woods, there is also a race track along the entire forest.
The Woods of Barra is a park with little human interference, and this is the greatest beauty of the place. The less like another place, the more beautiful it becomes.
