Barra da Tijuca is a young neighborhood and has grown much more than others in the city. In the neighborhood there are many offices, malls, stores, as well as residences. Barra was growing so much, that at the beginning of the 21st century, they believed that the downtown would become there. With this high demand, changes in the mobility of the neighborhood were made and one of them was the creation of the BRT - Bus Rapid Transit, which is an articulated bus that travels an exclusive lane. In its creation it was necessary to end the cycle path of Avenida das Américas, as the stations would take its place. With the end of the bike path, it was very difficult to cycle through Avenida das América, and the route between Alvorada and Jardim Oceânico was impaired. However, there is a second option that is very unknown to locals to connect these two points, which is the cycle path on Avenida Mayor Dulcídio Cardoso. I decided to do her route to show how fast and pleasant the route is.
