I’m back. After taking a long hiatus and getting out of the eye of the storm that the industry creates, here’s what I have learned and what I have been up to. https://theneweraofbarbering.com

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:

-Had my first student break the $100 barrier without a license and cuts in his parent’s garage

-Valuable content, not just something that’s enjoyable or funny to watch but building off of what principles I’ve learned to charge $200 per cut as well as build my students up to be able to charge $100 without a barber license or cutting in a barbershop

HERE’S WHAT WE COVERED IN THE TUTORIAL:

Why I’m not going to do tutorials 
-It was an ass-backward approach for the educational stance I was pushing because even though tutorials helped me startup, they weren’t what got me to the next level of charging $100-$200/cut
-The first principle, focus on 1 thing and one thing only
-How you do one thing is how you do everything

-Even thought of abandoning this idea but knew a young barber would be able to get a lot of different info as well as a different angle, and that was priceless for me

What I found most barbers that are struggling aren’t those that are just beginning, but those that have reached a certain level and their growth has stopped and they are in a cycle they can’t escape
-Lack of demand creates a scarcity mindset, which infects the rest of their business
-must get unjammed of hard binary poles
-how to diagnose a rut, as well as an easy way for you to hack your current poles

That’s why I plan on continuing elevated mentorship
-The success of @_southbaychris, @Jfadeit, @suncutz, @kingcardiel and others kept drawing demand for this program that I knew would help barbers breakthrough
-I have seen how valuable information like this is for other barbers and to be able to elevate and breakthrough the typical labor barber and create a sustainable business for themselves where they work less and make more
