This time in history has been an amazing learning opportunity for many people. More people have been learning and posting more about civil liberties injustices as well as health disparities that impact black communities.

The COVID 19 pandemic has re-highlighted the reality of overall worse health outcomes for black people regardless of their SES. Physicians must realize their role in this issue. Often there are a sum of many small things that add up to discriminatory behavior. Not intentionally finding and working against unconscious bias is one of them.
