Please visit: https://www.benjaminmossman.co | There are some questionable working contracts being offered by employers in Dubai and you should always make sure that you are being given your working visa from your employer if you and not self-employed.

To my surprise, many employers in Dubai are trying to recruit employees without giving them a working visit but rather asking them to work on a probation period without a visa. Having done a little research it looks like it is illegal for employers in Dubai to ask employees to work a probation period without a working visa or sponsorship.

I would hate to see anyone come to the UAE and work for a company for three months without pay and then not receive their residency working visa.

The other matter in question here is overstay fines because it could be that the candidate comes for the job in Dubai and they overstay their tourist visa while trying to get their residency visa and the candidate could be left in a situation having no money from a commission only role and overstay fines.

I can understand why the UAE is pushing irresponsible employers who are offering such contracts asking people to work a probation period in order to get a residency visa.

The articles and forums I seen online while doing a bit of research that have been helpful for me in understanding the matter are;

I hope this video finds the right people who will benefit from seeing this and preventing them from ending up in an unpleasant situation.
