We make it up to Sugar Mountain the last ride day of the 2021 season. Rain had hampered riding the day before but the trail had dried and we were ready to check out Sugar's most popular trail, Carolina Cruiser. Designated as a green/easy trail, Carolina Cruiser is more like a blue/intermediate at the least!

I included 2 laps on this video but got in 5 laps before my my body called it quits. Not included in this video was my wipeout on lap 4 on a section I had been overrunning all day. Luckily my 661 helmet, gloves and protection did their job and allowed me to walk away with only minor cuts and bruises.

Sugar Mountain is one of only two chairlift downhill parks in North Carolina. Scenic chairlift rides are available every weekend beginning the 4th of July weekend and ending Labor Day weekend.
