ONE CORRECTION : ASM commented to say the battery life has been tested to be 4+ in rechargeable batteries, chopped out the bit where I got it wrong.

This took a lot of writing, and re-writing, and I still left some insightful things out.

First, I wish I had a good place to say that the explorer in some ways takes better advantage of the digital domain when compared to the larger siblings because its smaller and cheaper. And that's the real promise of good sounding digital synthesis ; smaller size and lower prices.

And, while it might seem bottomless, theres some evidence that processing power is not unlimited on the hydrasynth. Oscillator 3 is missing mutants, and the wave scanning options from 1 and 2, and the second filter is a simple virtual analog one, without the selection of specific models like filter one.
