Radiculopathies occur as the result of compression and/or irritation of a nerve root. Symptoms may include neck or back pain as well as symptoms that travel down the arm or leg.

In instances of mechanical compression, appropriate evaluation and treatment can help reduce symptoms and full function. Fairly often there may be inflammatory agents that will continually provoke symptoms. Cases such as these may need additional help with pharmacological intervention.
