Kangvai village of Manipur that falls in between the districts of Bishnupur and Churachandpur has sadly turned into a ghost town. The inhabitants have deserted the village owing to violent attacks since May 3. Properties have been vandalised, looted and set ablaze. The villagers have taken refuge in relief camps. Some have sought refuge in the camps of Imphal and Bishnupur, and the others have taken shelter in the the relief camps of Churachandpur. Kangvai stands as a testament to the hatred, intolerance, and animosity that has become Manipur's reality.
