PlayStation Portal Remote Player releases today, letting you play PS5 games via Remote Play.

We got our hands on the Playstation Portal Remote Player. Have a first hands-on look at the NEW PlayStation Portal as I unboxes Sony's latest handheld gaming device that lets you play your PS4 and PS5 games on the move over WiFi, wherever you roam. We’ll look at the design, portability, gaming features, remote play and how it works. Let's unbox!

Unlike the Steam Deck, Razer Edge etc, the PlayStation Portal isn't a stand-alone gaming console. Rather, it needs to connect to your PS5 via WiFi to stream games, with no option to install locally. The PS Portal feels like a Dual Sense controller with an 8-inch screen wedged into the middle.
