This video was created for A3S owners who still have original power supplies that work and have a better 24V PSU at hand to upgrade but do not have a 5.5mm DC jack to use along with the PSU. If you do not want to open your printer to upgrade and prefer a more simple approach, refer to the last paragraph.

The supplied 24V 10A power supply unit of the A3S cannot handle the heat generated when printing ABS. When I was running the heated bed at 90C on my A3S, the PSU ended up permanently damaged due to overheating after printing for about 2 hours. This video explains how to upgrade the A3S to a more robust 24V 20A PSU with its own cooling fan.

The JGAurora A3S can be purchased here: https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinm...

Note: For those who want a more simple approach, I suggest getting a 5.5mm DC power jack, wiring your new PSU to it and then plugging it into the printer. The jack can be bought here:

Using this approach will require some soldering skills. When purchasing a 5.5mm jack that comes with its own wire, make sure the wire is thick enough to handle 10 to 15A of current at 24V. Some wires may be too thin and overheat at this current range. If you're not sure, ask the seller.

If you already have a busted PSU, you can cut off the wire and reuse it with your new PSU instead of buying a new 5.5mm DC jack
