Hello family, in this video I am sharing the experience I had during my transit after doing Dhankar trek to Chandratal while on my Spiti valley road trip. So we had taken a hault in one of the remote villages in Spiti, Lalung village at homestay and we were surprised to see the humbleness and hospitality of the homestay owner. We had booked our package through Spiti Holiday Adventure company, but I will recommend you to directly contact Mr Rajbir Singh (the cab driver we had). He is a really polite local guy who does road trip in all of Spiti, Ladakh and rest of Himachal.

The town of Kaza is the subdivisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the western Himalayas in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. Spiti is a high altitude or cold desert having close similarities to the neighbouring Tibet and Ladakh regions in terms of terrain, climate and the Buddhist culture. Kaza is the largest township and commercial center of the Spiti valley and is situated along the Spiti River at an elevation of 3,650 metres (11,980 ft) above mean sea level.
