A motorcycle adventure through the epic Canon del Pato in Peru, arguably the best motorcycle ride in Peru but certainly one of the most breathtaking, and dangerous. With the road only one lane wide and winding from the bottom of a valley up into the mountains, there are plenty of challenges; blind corners, sheer drop-offs, countless pitch-black tunnels, variably road surfacing and of course the insane Peruvian drivers. This was a bucket list item and definitely a contender for best motorcycle adventure in Peru, although there is quite a few options to choose from for best road in Peru (or even most dangerous roads in peru). As always I'm riding my trusty 2020 Honda CB500X.
