Last day of corn harvest, and disking under a failed soybean attempt. If you guys remember, some of the beans I planted back in early June into straight CRP. I thought there was a nice chance they would do decent if we got some rain, but as soon as I planted the soybeans, everything went completely dry. Insurance wrote them off as pretty much 0 bushels to the acre, so it wasn't worth combining. Luckily insurance was able to cover some of the costs, and it was only 18 acres. Overall, beans yields were extremely good (besides this field), and corn yields were decent to poor, depending on the field! A little bit more rain this growing year would have helped!
