CONTEXT
After last week's video I tried to figure out a worthwhile seasonal storage with heat pump in the opposite direction: from summer to winter. That means, storing the summer heat that you are suffering and "bring" it to the winter.
This happens to be unfeasible with the proposed configuration (which is easy and cheap) because there is no Phase Change Material (PCM) for storing heat at 40℃, like there is for storing cold at 0℃ (ice). Because the virtue of the configuration is that it doubles the efficiency of the heat pump by using both heat and cold, I insisted on making it useful also for this application: Storing heat for colder times.

In this video, you’ll learn how to turn a common chest freezer (even second hand), into a heat pump that can be useful in two situations: "bringing" cold with the time machine (storage) to heat waves. Especially in extreme situations like heat waves or blackouts, this can be a life saver but at will at least save you much discomfort and even money. The other way around, storing heat for colder times is possible in a lesser extent but I found ways to make the system useful also in this direction.

As continuation of the last week's video (   • Seasonal storage for 300€: bring cold...  ), we will now see how the same system is expandable to work in two directions and able to store heat and cold and even at the same time.
