Splash Water World Water Park At Riu Palace Costa Mujeres & Riu Dunamar - Water Slides & Kid's Park.

While we were staying at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres, we went over to their water park, Splash Water World. Splash Water World is located between the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres and the Riu Dunamar, and is included in your stay at either resort for no extra charge. The water park includes an area just for kids, with water slides, play areas, and two buckets that continually fill with water and then dump it out on anyone standing below them. You must have a child with you to gain entry to the kids area.

The other side of Splash Water World requires that you be 120cm/42.244 in. tall to gain entry. It has four water slides that empty into a pool and one slide that empties into a funnel/bowl and then drops you into a 7.5 ft. pool. We wouldn't say that it's a big water park, but it's fun, and it's a great added attraction to all the other amenities that the Riu resorts provide. I (Stan) tried all the slides on the adult side, and enjoyed every one of them! Your children or grandchildren could definitely spend a lot of time here, and there are shaded areas to sit and relax or just watch the action in the water. RiuLand is also located in this same area, and this is a play and activity area for children, supervised and led by the resort staff. So, there's a lot of fun to be had in this area! We loved Splash Water World, and we're sure you would too. Can't beat having a water park at your resort!
