On this #techtuesday , we look at the difference between Excel Fusion and Excel R8. Excel Fusion and Excel R8 are two high-performance control lines with different constructions and properties.

Excel Fusion is a blended covered rope with a Dyneema core and a polypropylene cover and Excel R8 is an 8-plait rope with a Dyneema SK78 core and a Technora® and polyester cover. Used by Olympic sailing teams around the world, both offer excellent performance with very different characteristics.
