In today's video, I'll be opening and reviewing the brand new 2023-24 Panini Prizm Draft Picks FOTL Hobby Box. These boxes sold at Dutch Auction starting at $500 and sold out at $212. You can find them on the secondary market $275-325 a box.

These boxes contain 4 10-card packs. Expect to find 4 Autographs, 4 Silver Prizms, and 8 additional Prizm parallels.

🃏🃏 for Set Quality/Design: The 2022 Prizm design was so great we get to see it again with 2023 Draft. I suspect Panini knew this whole NFLPA thing was coming and rushed to get product out the door. It shows in the QC as well. Cards are terribly off center. Can't wait for you to pull half of two cards.

🃏🃏🃏 for Value: Bonus autos!?! Yes, please. This also tells me Panini is panic rush mode. Did they simply have so many sticker autos they generously threw in extra hits or is their factory lines in such disarray they accidently showed the hobby generouisity? You be the judge. While there's plenty of autos you don't know, there's plenty of autos of rookies that aren't in many or any other sets. That means an inflated value. FOTL is spectacular at the floor of $212. At $300, I'd steer clear. Hobby might be a rough ride, especially if those extra autos aren't in them.

🃏🃏 for Collectability: It's NFL players in college unis. No, please. Only power collectors search out draft singles. The cards won't hold value long term and aren't especially liquid.

Are the extra hits a sign of Panini going out with a bang and a handshake to collectors? Who knows. I do know FOTL was a good value. Buyer beware if you're looking at Hobby.
