Hi friends ! welcome to Chennai samayalagam

In this video we are going to see how to make mor kulambu in tamil

Ingredients : ladies finger – 10 (medium size), curd – 300 grams, grated coconut – ½ cup, toor dal (red gram) – 2 tsp (soaked for 30 mins in water), green chillies – 3 nos, ginger – small piece, cumin seeds – 1 tsp, oil – 4 tsp, mustard – 1 tsp, fenugreek – ¼ tsp, some curry leaves, red chilli – 2 nos, asafoetida powder – ¼ tsp, turmeric powder – ¼ tsp and salt as much as necessary

Note : 1. Wash and cut ladies finger as shown in the video, 2. Blend the curd in a mixie jar until smooth consistency and keep aside, 3. In a mixie jar put grated coconut, soaked toor dal, green chillies, ginger and cumin seeds with ½ glass of water and grind to smooth paste, 4. We are making this mor kuzhambu for 3 to 4 persons

switch on the stove (medium flame) – in a vessel pour 2 tsp of oil – add ladies finger,necessary salt and roast until it turns non sticky and colour changes slightly and keep aside – in another vessel heat 2 tsp of oil – put mustard and fenugreek seeds in it and allow mustard to splutter – now add curry leaves and red chillies – also add asafoetida powder and turmeric powder and fry for few seconds – now add grounded coconut mixture paste with 2 ½ glasses of water – mix them and allow to boil – once it starts boiling add fried ladies finger and necessary salt and cook for another 2 minutes – finally switch off the stove and add curd and mix – now delicious mor kuzhambu is ready to serve

Try this mor kuzhambu which goes well with rice and potato chips or masal vada or potato fry
