This is a Pioneer CT-F950 Vintage Three-Head Cassette Deck that has been refurbished.

Hi, Watchers! Compare this deck to the others you'll find on eBay and watch the video. So far, I'm the only one who provides a full disclosure of repairs completed with a video backing up what's been done and demonstrating the very deck you'll be getting. I think my price is fair, but if you want to deal, make an offer. If that doesn't work, contact me. My objective is to find a good home for this unit! Cheers!

***NOTE: Freight-Forwarders, please do not bid/buy without approval first. See end note for more information.

For the audio enthusiasts, vintage audio buffs, and people (like me) wanting to reclaim a bit of your youth, please read on.

This is an excellent deck from 1978/1979/1980. Not only has the mechanism been rebuilt, but the sound is excellent. Note that this deck DOES record on Metal tapes. The CT-F950 was the step-up in the product line that introduced the Metal tape option.

I conduct an extensive burn-in process to make sure the mechanism is performing properly and the electronics are calibrated as optimally as possible for a unit of this age. I'm extremely excited over the performance I've seen on this deck!

Note the wooden cabinet is the original vinyl simulated woodgrain veneer that some of these units had. There is a break in the veneer on the front right-hand side toward the bottom and a scratch on the front left-hand side toward the top of the cabinet. Both are shown in the pictures and in the video. The case has the serial number embossed/written on it, so you know the case matches the unit. The cabinet is in pretty good condition even with these two minor blemishes.

Here's a rundown of the work performed on this unit.
