I’ve been playing a fair old whack of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess as of late, and am one trophy away from platinum (if you’ve played it, you know which one), so I thought why not make an ASMR roleplay of it?

Well, a valid reason not to would have been the utter nightmare it was to make the costume and then how sweaty I’d be during the issue-laden filming… but that never stopped me before.

Anyway, the questionable result is a reiki ASMR roleplay where Soh finds you as they’re darting about the enchanted mountain where the seethe are all going bananas. You’re, I guess, a villager, or something, and after offering you some questionable mochi, Soh performs some energy plucking and energy pulling reiki to help cleanse your spirit.

But then night falls! And you become cocooned! So, as you’d expect, Soh performs a very awkward defilement purge so you can continue your day collecting wood, rebuilding sweet shops, and having a flower for a face. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
