Most Excel formulas you create won’t need a visual explanation of what they do—they just need to give you the right answer. Some equations, such as the Pythagorean theorem for calculating the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle, make more sense when they’re written out. In this movie I’ll show you how to add a known equation to a worksheet, then show you how to build one on your own.
