Delicious mackerel! Fish melts in your mouth, even bones
To make canned mackerel:
Fresh frozen mackerel - 1.2 kg (2 large mackerels, unpeeled weight)
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Water - 200 g
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Coriander - 1/3 tsp
Allspice - 3-5 peas
Black pepper - 7-10 peas
Odorless vegetable oil - 70 g
1. Remove the head, fins, entrails. Rinse the mackerel well, be sure to remove the black film inside. Cut the fish into portions.
2. Put the pieces into a saucepan. Add spices: allspice, black pepper, coriander, bay leaf, salt and sugar. Pour in water and vegetable oil.
3. Put the saucepan on fire, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer fish over low heat for 2.5 hours. Remove the pan from the stove and let cool completely.
