This is the second part of a two part guide to the whole of the Cook Islands, a nation of 15 tiny islands spread across an area of the South Pacific Ocean the size of India.

Part one covered eight of the nine islands in the Southern group. Part two takes you on a tour of the remaining seven, starting with Palmerston which is entirely populated by the descendants of one Englishman and his four Polynesian wives. The other six islands in this film comprise the Northern group and have been described by some as as the stuff of dreams. They include Suwarrow - population 2 - where, to this day, there is undiscovered buried treasure, and Pukapuka where islanders speak their own unique language.

And even if you can't visit the islands in person, hopefully this guide will give you an idea of why they' re so special.
