G'day guys!

This weekend I managed to get some more sheets onto the deck which is starting to look really great. Soon I'll be able to fibre glass the deck completely so that's really exciting. Then I'm back to figuring out these stuck portholes - but still NO LUCK! Then finally a little surprise for you all at the end, another really important piece of this boats puzzle!

About The Boat:

The Enchantress is a 1973 Formosa 41ft Ketch Sailboat, designed by William Garden and built by the Ta Chiao Brothers Boat Building company. It's fair to say that she has definitely enchanted me, and I want to bring her back onto the water with some simple restorations, plus add some modern items to make this a very live-able and enjoyable sailboat! I bought this boat second hand for $500, because I figured the sailboat was far too beautiful not to be restored. I love getting my hands dirty and doing DIY projects.

So if you love sailing, sailing boats, restoring old boats, or just want to learn more about how to repair an old fiberglass sailboat like this one, stick around and follow my adventures as I attempt to restore a sailboat for the first time.
