Ferdowsi Mausoleum is the burial place of Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi in Tus.

Ferdowsi's tomb was opened in 1313 AH equal to 1934 AD.

Ferdowsi's tomb has been built and destroyed many times. In the reports made by Iranian and foreign researchers in the last two centuries, a humble building covered with wheat fields has been seen. Finally, at the beginning of the 14th solar century and at the same time as Iran's new nationalism, the efforts to build a tomb worthy of Ferdowsi were resumed.
