In this Build Series I build the Tamiya 1/48 F-14A Tomcat using out-of-box techniques (because I want to see just how good this kit is).
Part 4 is the final episode and will focus on painting the Tomcat's hi-visibility paint scheme for a VF-84 Jolly Rogers plane. This including tips on painting soft edge cammo, masking and highlighting the panel lines.
Paints used:
Tamiya X-2 White
Tamiya XF-1 Black
Tamiya XF-2 White
Tamiya XF-19 Sky Grey
Tamiya XF-22 RLM Grey
Tamiya XF-57 Buff
Tamiya XF-69 Nato Black
Tamiya XF-80 Royal Light Grey
Washes used:
Mig Ammo Dark Grey and Brown for Green Vehicles

Special Thanks to Richard Le for the Tamiya recipe for Light Gull Grey featured in the video!
