Mt Balbi, is an dorman volcano in the Rotokas area of Wakunai District. Known as Tutue by locals is the highest point in the region rising to 2,715 m (8,907 ft). The flanks of the volcano are covered by dense tropical rain forest up to 1220 m (4000 ft), bamboo and moss forest. Depending on the fitness level you can track within three days and back to the village at Togarau.

On the 11th - 13th December Girl Gang Hikers from Port Moresby track the mountain and successfully reach the summit.
