It’s time to enter the Library’s annual Design-A-Bookmark Contest for kids and teens in grades K through 12. Use your favorite medium – pencil, pen or paintbrush – and create an original design with a library theme.

Get started by picking up an entry form at any Springfield-Greene County Library branch, the Mobile Library, or download an entry form at thelibrary.org/bookmarks.

The contest begins February first and all entries must be received by March 15th. Winners and runners-up will be personally notified, and their entries will be revealed on Thursday, April 27, on the Library’s web page:
thelibrary.org/bookmarks.

One winner and three runners-up will be selected in each grade category
First-place winning designs will be printed on bookmarks and distributed at the libraries and at community events throughout the year. Winners in each grade category will receive a $20 gift card to Hobby Lobby and 50 copies of their printed bookmarks to share with family and friends.
