This is a motorcycle journey to Samboan.

Taking my first stop in Sibonga poblacion. Then, I visited a small spring in Bagacay, Sibonga where locals flock everyday to wash their clothes and take a bath. I took some time talking to people who were there doing laundry. I inspected the spring I so long wanted to visit. I always take a glance at this place when traveling further south. Most times it is crowded with people that is why the place catches my attention whenever I pass.

From Sibonga, I continued my journey towards Samboan. I was hungry and so I made another stop at the only 711 store in Alcoy poblacion. I had coffee and siopao to fill and warm my stomach. It was also at this point where I made my 1st shout outs in the video.

After my last sip, I continued cruising the road until I reached Barangay San Sebastian, Samboan. This is the first barangay of Samboan and famous for its Bato Port (Maayo Shipping Port). At this point, I started my Samboan adventure. Visited the exit point of Aguinid Falls' trail to the last and 8th level. I also went to the town proper to see for myself its beautiul church- St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Apart from its church, the town also has another attraction just in the church vicinity- Jacob's Ladder. It is a concrete ladder with 147 steps that connects N. Bacalso National Road to the town's 19th century watch tower. I made some epic drone shots of Samboan sentro which you can see in the video.

From the town center, I traveled up the mountains to see in person this attraction sitting on a plateau- Lantaw de Samboan. I also took some drone shots there. Stunning! After, I drove back down to poblacion and visited the hidden lake of the town. Punong Lake is an abandoned attraction in Samboan Poblacion. Now it remains closed (not operating anymore) but its gates are always open and unattended. So I went inside to check the place. I saw so many wild birds like tukmo and wild ducks nestling in the thick swampy nipa areas. So amazed how wild birds made this former town attraction its home, its haven.

As always, I had so much fun. Riding my bike alone to a town 150 kms. away from my home. And, what made this journey more exciting? I was alone. Solo adventure. On a motorcycle, my "Siloy".
