A little different than my usual DIY car maintenance videos, my siblings and I decided to check out the locally known trail in Coquitlam known as the "coquitlam crunch". Due to the pandemic, the trail became a temporary "1 way street". Fortunately for us, there were only a handful of people on the trail so we were able to keep our distance from them, we had our masks on as well, but was only taken off for the video. The Crunch is beginner-friendly, but good enough to get oneself "huffin n' puffin". We started the trail from the main parking lot literally behind the Coquitlam Club16 and Mcdonalds however, we found out that there were a couple more parking lots closer to the trail which makes the hike a little easier. Once at the top, which you'll see - (to be honest, not much because of the cloudy, overcast weather) - in the video, rain started coming down a little harder than we liked so we decided to head down.(To avoid getting completely soaked and, possibly, sick) The trail continues to go up despite reaching the "you made it!" sign which you'll see in the video, but then again, weather prevented us in doing so, but we will definitely check it out the next time we come back! Great time bonding with my brother and sisters!
