Ingredients

Rice -2cup
Grated coconut -9tbsp
Sugar -3tbsp
Salt-
Fermented Coconut Water -1
Normal water -11/4 cup

Method
Add sugar into the coconut water ,mix well .
Close well and keep this water in the sunlight for 10 hours and then keep inside the house for 14 hours .Totally 24 hours until fermented ..
Soak rice for minimum 4 hours ..
Add soaked rice and coconut in a bowl ..
Grind these rice coconut mix with coconut water to fine paste ..(except 3 tbsp )
Then grind this 3tbsp with normal water to fine paste ..
Add this paste into a sauce pan and add 1 glass of water .. Mix well ..
Cook this in medium flame till get a thick paste .
Allow to cool down ..
After cooling down grind this paste along with 2 ladle of ground paste and water ..
Then add this to the batter and mix well..
To this add sugar and salt .. Close this and allow to ferment in a hot place ..
After fermenting make appam in tawa or appam pan as shown in the video ..

From this batter we get 20 appams ..
