Sunday, the fourth and final day of our Yerushalayim Shabbaton, was a powerful blend of emotion and action. We began with a reflective visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum, learning about the atrocities the Jewish people went through. The mood then shifted as the bochurim rolled up their sleeves at Pantry Packers, a Colel Chabad initiative, to pack food for the needy of Eretz Yisroel.
The energy surged with a special IDF experience at Fauda Base, where we gained deep insights into the rigorous training of IDF soldiers defending the Holy Land. The evening was nothing short of spectacular, as we enjoyed a mouthwatering BBQ dinner at an army base near the Kochav Yaakov Yishuv in Yehuda v'Shomron. But it wasn’t just about the food—we uplifted the soldiers with our singing and dancing, giving them much needed chizuk to continue their vital mission of protecting our land. We then returned to Tzfas, reflecting on what was undoubtedly the greatest Shabbaton ever!
