We are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and are taking you for a ride on the Kuala Lumpur MRT (the Kuala Lumpur Metro Train, the Kuala Lumpur Underground or Kuala Lumpur Subway). The Kuala Lumpur MRT is a new and modern Metro Train connecting the city together. In this video we show you how to buy tickets (Tokens) for the Kuala Lumpur MRT (Metro Train) from the Automatic Ticket Machines and How to use the Tokens for the MRT Metro Train. We also take you along on the ride so that you can see what the Kuala Lumpur Metro Stations look like and what the Kuala Lumpur Metro Trains look like inside. When we arrive at our destination we also show you how you must use your Kuala Lumpur MRT Metro Token to exit the Metro Station. It is very important that you keep your MRT Metro Train Token as you can only exit the MRT Station with it!

Do not be confused by the Kuala Lumpur MRT Line and Kuala Lumpur LRT Line. MRT stands for Mass Rapid Transit and is similar to the LRT but has longer trains with more capacity for passengers. LRT stands for Light Rapid Transit and the Kuala Lumpur Monorail belongs to this public Transport category which is normally used for short distances within the city area. There is also the BRT which stands for Bus Rapid Transit, where the train is replaced by a bus for lower capacity places.

During our travels in Kuala Lumpur we always use the Kuala Lumpur MRT Metro Train. This Metro Train System makes getting around easy, cheap and the MRT Stations as well as the MRT Trains are always spotless and well maintained a pleasure to use this public transport system.
