Missal, applying the norms of this motu proprio", "Traditionis Custodes", writes Pope Francis to the
bishops of the world. Indeed, after he consulted them, the Pope Francis announces the motu
proprio in Italian and in English this 16th of July, 2021, followed by a letter which explains this answer
to their demands: decisions in this liturgic domain are now the responsibility of the bishops.
