During a recent visit to Cairns, my wife Ruth and I did the Kuranda Skyrail and Scenic Railway day trip.

We were picked up at our motel and transported to Smithfield and the terminal for Skyrail. We walled to Kuranda for lunch and returned to Cairns railway station, arriving at about 4.00 PM.

I have strung together my video and still images to provide for you with our impressions of the day.

We thought that it was quire good and value for money. This was not the first time for us on train and cable and we have made other visits to Kuranda by car. But we thought it a good day out for both locals and tourists.
