A short video about what is going on in Sihanoukville in 2022.
There had been many Chinese development projects in Sihanoukville in the past few years, which made life there quite difficult. During the pandemic, however, most of the infrastructure work was finished, so Sihanoukville is ready to attract locals and foreigners alike and destined to become an important new international hub.

Cambodia has bright growth potential as a result of Southeast Asia’s economic expansion, increased commerce with China, and a young and active population with rising educational levels.

Sihanoukville is projected to become known for more than its tourism attractions. Given its position as Cambodia’s only deep-water port, it aspires to become an industrial city similar to Shenzhen, complete with special economic zones and the development of export-led manufacturing activity.

I believe that it is a great time to invest in Sihanoukville now.
Sihanoukville is on the way to becoming a new Miami. As the only deep seaport in Cambodia and with the Chinese money pouring in, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape, Sihanoukville is destined to become a central international hub for trade, business, and tourism alike. At the end of 2019, the government banned online gambling, so around 100.000 Chinese left Sihanoukville. Since the end of 2021, Cambodia does not require quarantine at entry, and since March 2022, not even a PCR test has been required. Tourists are slowly coming back; however, they did not yet return at the expected large numbers, so the apartment prices did not increase that significantly just yet.
