In June 2021, we took a last-minute trip to the snowy mountains of Australia. Our plan was to visit Perisher Valley first and then go to Thredbo. Despite the short notice, we secured accommodation in Candelo.

If you plan to visit the Snowy Mountains, we recommend staying in Jindabyne as it's only a 30-minute drive from both Thredbo and Perisher. This makes Jindabyne an ideal base for exploring the surrounding ski resorts.
