Adventure in Tokushima!
Let's explore Tokushima prefecture, a region located on the east coast of Shikoku island, near Osaka.
Famous for its Awa odori festival which takes place in August, the region has many other lesser known attractions.
Firstly, the blue gold of the region the, indigo, which has been the pride and wealth of this territory since the Edo period. Then the natural and spectacular landscapes along the Yoshino River and in particular the Iya Valley, which is adorned with magnificent colors in Autumn.
The Iya valley also has little-known places that are worth the detour, and I present them to you in this video.
Tokushima is also a place where you can taste good wild game meat.
It is a beautiful region, preserved and full of charm that we are discovering, it has managed to preserve precious local crafts, such as that of indigo which I would like to show you.
