WELL, THIS IS VERY UNEXPECTED!! Toyota is going to start using BYD drivetrains inside their upcoming Toyota Corolla, Harrier, and future Hybrid products!

That's according to the credible news site BestCarWeb who are known for having insiders inside of major Japanese automotive companies like Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Mazda. So what does it mean for Toyota to be using Chinese car manufacturer Build Your Dream's Blade batteries and motors in their cars?

It means that Toyota are giving Chinese manufacturers like BYD a tick of reliability approval, which is exactly what these brands need to be able to succeed in tough Western markets. This is an impressive feat for BYD, and today I'm going to explain why this changes the game for the Automotive industry in Australia, China, Japan, Europe and the rest of the world.
