The steps covered in the video are:

• Make sure the inhaler canister is securely in place and remove the cap off the mouthpiece
• Shake well before each use
• Prime the inhaler by spraying it into the air away from the face for a total of three times (if not used for over two weeks or is the first time using it)
• Hold the inhaler upright with the cap removed
• Breathe out through your mouth as much air from your lungs as you can away from the mouthpiece
• Put the mouthpiece in your mouth and close your lips around it
• Start inhaling deeply and slowly through your mouth while pushing down on the canister once and continue taking a full breath
• Remove the inhaler from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds or for as long as comfortable and breathe out slowly through your nose
• If instructed to use more than one spray wait one minute and repeat the above steps
• Put the cap back on the mouthpiece after every time you use the inhaler and make sure the cap snaps firmly into place
• Clean your inhaler at least one time each week by removing the canister and running only the mouthpiece under warm water and then dry it thoroughly
• Seek medical help right away or call 911 if inhaler does not help your symptoms.
• Consult your doctor before stopping your medication.
• Carry your rescue inhaler with you and make sure your inhaler is readily available in case you have trouble breathing
• Contact your pharmacist or doctor if experiencing side effects
